Job Description:
Assist the Assistant Horticulturist in; natural resource stewardship activities, hazard tree management, and landscape install and maintenance. Assist in the implementation of prescribed fire. Assist in invasive species control, timber stand improvement, brush removal/piling, native seed collection/processing. Assist in hazard tree assessment, mitigation, and documentation. Operate various equipment to include but not limited to, chainsaws, brush cutters, pole saws, string trimmers with grass blades, tractors, and skid steers. Assist in installing new landscapes, landscape maintenance, and tree plantings. Assist in other duties as assigned. Requirements /
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
At least three months experience working in a recreational area, scenic attraction, hospitality, historical, retail or customer service setting, agricultural setting, or related coursework/training.
