We are seeking a calm, safety‑focused tractor driver to operate guest hayrides at our pick‑your‑own apple farm. This is a part‑time, seasonal weekend position running from early September through late October , including Columbus Day Weekend . The role involves slow, controlled tractor operation around large numbers of retail customers, families, and children. Responsibilities and Duties Safely operate a farm tractor pulling passenger wagons at low speeds Maintain a calm, friendly presence even during busy periods Make sound, safety‑first decisions when navigating crowds or unexpected situations Assist with haywagon loading and unloading Provide excellent customer service and answer basic questions Help direct customers in the orchard and maintain smooth guest flow Qualifications Extensive experience operating tractors or heavy machinery (minimum 5-10 years) CDL preferred but not required Comfortable driving slowly and attentively around large groups of people Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure Physically capable of driving on uneven farm roads for extended periods (with breaks) Live within approximately 25 minutes of 07930 The employer is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
