- Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our landscape maintenance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across various landscapes. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip lines, valves, and controllers using hand tools and power tools. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation equipment to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs. Adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions, plant needs, and landscape requirements to optimize water efficiency. Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, pruning, planting, and soil preparation to support overall landscape health. Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and repair logs for future reference and reporting purposes. Collaborate with team members on landscape projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems. Familiarity with irrigation components such as valves, controllers, emitters, and piping. Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively. Strong understanding of landscaping design and general construction processes related to outdoor projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting system issues. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for outdoor work and possess the physical stamina required for hands-on tasks in various weather conditions.
