About us We are innovative, rewarding, challenging and our goal is to provide a unique educational experience to all visitors, with excellent customer service.
Our work environment includes:
  • On-the-job training
  • Flexible working hours
  • Lively atmosphere We are looking for a Barn Associate to assist with barn maintenance and taking care of the animals.
Additionally, at Doyle's Farm, we offer educational farm tours where groups can learn about our animals, the different breeds, the daily life of a farmer, as well as why farming is so important. Along with the barn associate position, you may be asked to be an agritourism guide for these events. Benefits of this position
  • Being apart of a wonderful team who enjoys supporting the farm's love of the animals, educational tours and our community.
  • Bottle feeding baby goats/sheep.
  • Working with a supportive team.
  • The rewarding joy of educating the public on the importance of farming. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining the day-to-day barn upkeep rules.
  • Feeding and watering and caring for the animals.
  • Mucking stalls, raking and cleaning in and around barn.
  • Maintaining the barn cats and food/litter.
  • Able to perform strenuous physical labor and lifting.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and maintain animal care schedules.
  • Additional duties may include odd jobs around the barn and farm.
  • Give educational tours on the farm, for schools and private tours.
  • Preparing the barn and farm for tours.
  • Maintain chickens and collect eggs.
  • Maintain bunnies' food, water, bedding.
  • Present a clean and professional appearance.
Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Must work well in a team environment and be able to communicate honestly and accept feedback.
  • Have an understanding of the animals you're working with.
  • Enjoy working with farm animals and presenting the farm to visitors.
  • Able to perform strenuous physical labor and lifting.
