Job Description

Our client has been a leader in New Jersey agriculture since 1919. Today, they are a premier cannabis cultivator dedicated to quality, innovation, and respect.
Role Overview:
Are you a high-energy team player with an eye for detail? As a Packaging Technician, you are the final touch on their premium products. Join a fast-paced, collaborative team where precision meets speed, and your hard work directly impacts their success.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor high-speed packaging machinery at peak efficiency. Execute rigorous quality control checks along the production line. Inspect final products to ensure they meet our exceptional standards before shipping. Track and match ID numbers accurately to ensure 100% compliance and destination accuracy. Perform minor machine adjustments and preventive maintenance. Maintain a pristine, organized production environment.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to pass all required state and company background screening requirements in accordance with New Jersey cannabis regulations. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any required New Jersey cannabis industry credentials or registrations. Proven experience on a production line (conveyors, weight machines, labelers, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under production quotas. Expertise in time management and efficient workflow optimization.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks. Must be able to navigate through corporate office environments with or without the use of mobility aids. Must have the manual dexterity to complete job functions with or without accommodations Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise) Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance. #IND1
