Job Description

Processing Technician | Vineland, NJ The Opportunity We're partnering with Our Client , one of New Jersey's premier cannabis cultivators, to find a motivated and detail-driven Processing Technician to join their growing production team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in the craft of cannabis processing, holds themselves to a high standard of quality, and thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment. Your Day-to-Day You'll be working directly on the production floor, preparing cannabis flower for the trim room and ensuring every batch meets Our Client's quality standards from start to finish. Processing & Prep Take product down from hanging racks and prepare for trim room processing Remove buds from stems and fan leaves from branches efficiently and accurately Check and verify moisture levels are met before material moves downstream Weigh and log all material accurately at each stage of processing Trimming & Manicuring Manicure flower in a timely and efficient manner while preserving product integrity Remove crow's feet and excess leaf without compromising the bud structure Manipulate stem length for the highest quality final presentation Maintain a minimum output of 5 lbs per 8-hour shift Quality Control Identify and flag signs of disease including bud rot and pest damage Identify strains accurately to prevent cross-batch contamination Sort small buds and trim, removing waste and fan leaf from trays Maintain an organized and clean workstation throughout each shift Workspace & Equipment Clean equipment, totes, and workspaces regularly and thoroughly Keep tray organization consistent to support downstream production flow What You Bring Nice to
Have:
Experience working a production line with machinery (weight machines, capping machines, conveyor belts, label applicators, printers, etc.) Experience adjusting or troubleshooting production line machinery Quality control experience in cannabis, food production, or another regulated/clean industry Ability to problem-solve under the pressure of production quotas
Must Have:
Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work Effective time management and efficient workflow habits Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while supporting the broader team Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to pass all required state and company background screening requirements in accordance with New Jersey cannabis regulations. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any required New Jersey cannabis industry credentials or registrations. Physical Requirements Ability to work seated or standing at a workstation for extended periods Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and maintain body equilibrium as tasks require Fine motor skills required — frequent use of hands and fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, and pinch Visual acuity required for close inspection of small details and product quality evaluation Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs to a height of 5 feet and a distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance Ability to communicate verbally in a moderate-noise production environment Must be able to navigate the facility with or without mobility aids Accommodations Our Client is committed to an inclusive hiring process.
