Cultivation Assistant Shift:
Early morning to afternoonType:
Full-time, in-person Responsibilities As a Cultivation Assistant at Silver Sage Wellness, you will play a direct role in growing top-quality cannabis for medicinal and wellness purposes. Some of your key duties will include: Plant care: Pruning, defoliation, training, and maintenance of plant health throughout the growth cycle Transplant operations: Preparing pots, media, transplanting seedlings or clones into vegetative/growth phase Harvesting & post-harvest work: Assisting during harvests and hanging dry rooms.Environment upkeep:
Cleaning and sanitizing grow rooms, tools, trays, pots, and maintaining strict hygiene protocols to prevent pest/disease issues Monitoring & reporting: Observing plant health, growth rates, possible disease or pest issues, nutrient deficiencies, and reporting abnormalities to supervisors Inventory & supplies: Ensuring that media, soil, nutrient mixes, pots, trays, etc., are stocked, organized, and ready for use Compliance adherence: Following all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements in cultivation and handling of cannabis Flexibility & teamwork: Assisting other cultivation staff as needed, learning new techniques, being open to overtime, working weekends/holidays Requirements To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a licensed cannabis cultivation facility as a cultivator. Valid Nevada Agent Card , or eligibility to obtain one (this includes passing federal background check; if not already obtained, candidate must be able to secure it, with up to $150 card cost + the fingerprint fee, borne by candidate) Strong attention to detail: ability to notice subtle signs of plant stress, pests, nutrient imbalances, etc. Reliable, punctual, with strong work ethic and pride in doing high-quality work Physical ability to do labor-intensive tasks: bending, lifting, standing for long periods, working in warm/humid conditions etc.Open availability:
