Job Description:
The Lead Cultivation Tech is responsible for ensuring all plant work meaning transplanting, pruning, defoliating, and trellis work has been completed thoroughly. Formulating, mixing, dosing, handling, applying fertilizers, additives, and agricultural chemicals accurately. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment for the rest of the staff as well as guests visiting the facility. Lead Cultivation Tech will also assist in the daily maintenance and upkeep of the Atomik cultivation facility including but not limited to cleaning and sanitizing equipment, surfaces, and utensils within the facility. Atomik Cannabis follows and implements a conscientious management model, striving to operate under the highest standards in cannabis.
Job Specifications:
Cultivation staff must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Atomik Cannabis, the city, the county, and the State of Nevada Cultivation staff must have an advanced understanding of Cannabis Laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable. The Lead Cultivation Tech will be responsible for watering veg plants as needed and filling fertigation tanks. Utilize advanced tools for monitoring environmental changes, coco moisture, lighting and co2 levels. Working alone without supervision. Cleaning any spills or puddles that may occur.• Maintaining facility (
Ex:
patching holes in tents, changing bulbs, etc.) Identifying problems, pests and pathogens and reporting them to the Director of Cultivation to come up with solutions for treatment.
Preferred Skills:
Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming and curing. Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed.• Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of their staff and the company as well as with their direct supervisor. Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and other co-workers. Ability to use initiative and independent judgement appropriately while not overstepping chain of command. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees, upper and management, and other departments.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older Must pass any and all required background checks Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry Must acquire and maintain a Valid Agent Card; and always have it on their person when working within the facility
