Job Description
Temporary Cannabis Harvest Harvest Support Technician (Seasonal) Position Summary We are seeking hardworking, reliable Harvest Support Technicians to assist with our outdoor cannabis cultivation operation during the auto-flower harvest season. This seasonal position plays a key role in supporting harvest operations while ensuring our full-term cultivation team can remain focused on critical plant care activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a physically demanding environment, and is excited to be part of a collaborative cultivation team. About the Farm 100-acre property with approximately 9 acres of prepared farmland. 1 acre of cannabis canopy spread across 3 acres to promote proper spacing and disease prevention. Crop rotation practices are used to maintain healthy soil and maximize long-term sustainability. On-site amenities include a central operations hub with a processing trailer, crew trailer, bathrooms, microwave, and tool hangar. Daily work begins at 8:00 AM, with team meetings and work assignments before crews head into the field. Responsibilities Assist with harvesting auto-flower cannabis plants. Support both Fresh Frozen and Traditional Harvest workflows. Cut, process, and prepare harvested plants according to SOPs. Assist with hanging plants for drying and curing when needed. Move harvested material between the field and processing areas. Maintain clean work areas, tools, and equipment. Follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance procedures. Work efficiently as part of a team in varying outdoor weather conditions. Perform additional cultivation and harvest duties as assigned. Harvest Workflows This role supports two primary harvest processes: Fresh Frozen Processing - Preparing harvested plants for immediate freezing to preserve quality for extraction. Traditional Harvest - Cutting, hanging, drying, and curing harvested plants. As freezer capacity is reached, production will transition from Fresh Frozen processing to traditional drying and curing methods. Qualifications Previous cannabis cultivation or harvest experience preferred but not required. Ability to perform repetitive physical work throughout the day. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Schedule Typical start time: 8:00 AM Seasonal harvest position Start date anticipated: July 27, 2026 Hours and schedule may vary based on harvest needs and weather conditions. Staffing An initial team of approximately 3 Harvest Support Technicians, with additional opportunities as harvest progresses. Candidates may be placed on an active bench for future openings throughout the harvest season.
