Overview Join our dynamic farm team as a Cannabis Farm Worker and become an essential part of cultivating a thriving agricultural environment! Duties Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using hand tools and farm machinery. Provide attentive care to livestock, including feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring health conditions. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other power tools safely to move supplies and materials around the farm. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, including welding and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for crops and pasture areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including greenhouses and barns, using hand tools and equipment repair skills. Qualifications Previous supervising experience or leadership roles on a farm or agricultural setting is preferred. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs and basic welding tasks. Hands-on experience with animal husbandry, including caring for horses or other livestock species. Valid forklift certification or experience operating heavy machinery safely. Familiarity with farming practices such as horticulture, greenhouse management, irrigation systems, and growing techniques. Ability to handle animals confidently and responsibly while maintaining safety standards. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance tasks required for farm upkeep. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, long hours outdoors, and operating heavy equipment. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting schedules or feed rations.
