Sod Farm Tractor-Trailer Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Tractor-Trailer Delivery Driver and Farm Equipment Operator to join our sod farm team. This position involves operating farm equipment, harvesting sod, and delivering orders to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sod farm equipment (tractors, harvesters, forklifts, skid steers, etc.)
• Load, transport, and unload sod for deliveries
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and farm operation guidelines
• Assist with general farm duties as needed
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers during deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, but not required if applicable) - Ability to drive and back-up truck ( manual transmission ) with 45' trailer w/piggyback forklift
• Experience operating farm or heavy equipment preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic mechanical knowledge a plus
