Job Description
Overview Indian Creek Creamery is in need of a part-time milker on our dairy operation. We milk 70 cows in a double-four parlor and would like to hire someone for our evening milking shift. We start milking at 5pm, and it takes approximately 3 hours from start to finish. This position pays $15/hour after the training period. We hope to find someone with a strong work ethic who likes cows and doesn't mind working outdoors or getting dirty. Duties Perform milking duties following established procedures Clean and sanitize dairy barn and surrounding work areas Inspect dairy cattle and provide basic treatment, reporting concerns as needed Experience Prior experience in farm or agricultural settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Experience working with cattle enhances suitability for this role but is not required
