Overview Join our dynamic cultivation team as a Cultivator and Flower Room Technician, where your passion for plant growth and horticulture will thrive! Duties Assist with planting, pruning, trimming, and harvesting plants to promote optimal growth and flowering. Monitor plant health daily, identifying pests, diseases, or deficiencies through careful inspection and plant identification skills. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules, adjusting as needed based on plant requirements. Maintain greenhouse conditions by controlling humidity, temperature, and light levels for ideal growing environments. Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently for various cultivation tasks. Record detailed data on plant development stages, nutrient application, and environmental conditions using basic math for accurate tracking. Support heavy lifting of plants or supplies during routine operations while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven growing experience with a strong understanding of horticulture principles and greenhouse management. Knowledge of irrigation systems, land management, farming practices, and outdoor gardening techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to greenhouse equipment, hand tools, and basic maintenance tasks. Ability to identify different plant species and recognize signs of pests or disease early on. Familiarity with lawn care, landscaping, agriculture practices, and outdoor work environments. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and environmental adjustments. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing outdoor work in various weather conditions.
