A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Position Overview:
The Cultivation Technician performs weekly cleaning of cultivation equipment, adherence to a task schedule, equipment calibrations, filter changes, vacuuming, mopping, and plant training/maintenance. This position is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM with periodic weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Cultivation WI and SOP are followed and performed. 2. Perform daily tasks as scheduled by Cultivation Director. 3. Maintain, break down, clean, and sanitize cultivation equipment. 4. Perform plant training techniques. 5. Daily visual inspection on plant health. 6. Monitor grow software and sensor data and notify management of any environmental issues. 7. Assist in room turnover and sanitization processes. 8. Perform calibrations on cultivation equipment. 9. Willingness to learn and continue to improve your craft.
Minimum Qualifications:
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to follow directions, Work Instructions and SOPs. Ability to lift 50#s. Ability to safely climb and stand on ladders up to 10 feet in height for extended periods of time Satisfactory documentation, inventory, and organization skills Excellent communication skills between management and cultivation staff. Time-management skills Ability to effectively plan and prioritize Ability to focus on a task and exhibits an attention to detail Ability to work effectively as a part of a team Must also be able to work independently once given direction Excellent data collection skills Mature, enthusiastic, and professional outlook on your career Willingness to learn new techniques and open to constructive criticism Ability to break down, clean, and sanitize equipment. Plant science, cannabis anatomy and cultivation knowledge preferred.
