JOB DUTIES

: We are looking for an experienced sales person to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with proven strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store's profitability. Sales isn't the only part of the job though. Additional Job duties will involve display pond upkeep, pond care, fish care, plant care, lifting 100lbs from the ground up, selling custom pond installations, scheduling outside techs, dispatching, follow up calls to customers, problem solving, stocking and grounds upkeep and more. You will get dirty every day.

Our store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00pm. We are closed on Sundays . All employees have two days off a week. Individual hours vary within our operating times. All applicants must be able to work every Saturday without fail. We are closed on major holidays (except Memorial Day) and closed the week between Christmas Eve and New Years Day.

Qualified applicants must possess:

Minimum of 2 years consecutive employment with the same employer Verifiable employment history. Proven work experience as a Face to Face Representative, Hardware Associate, Sales Associate or similar role. Experience running a POS Good computer skills (word, excel, canva, email, crm) Familiarity with consumer behavior principles. Knowledge of basic hand tools, plumbing & fittings. Good people skills Be out-going The ability to sell Professional appearance Able to greet and direct customers Able to lift 100lbs Ability to walk at a fast pace Possess excellent phone/communication skills Possess a professional appearance Good math skills Willing to handle fish Willing to get your hands dirty Able to work every Saturday without exception Ability to perform in fast-paced environments Enjoy fish Enjoy plants and/or gardening Valid Driver License Able to pass background check Able to pass drug screening
