Job Overview Join our dynamic farm team as a Milker/Farm Hand, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the health and productivity of our livestock while supporting daily farm operations. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a hands-on environment, ensuring animal well-being and farm efficiency. You'll be responsible for milking livestock, assisting with animal care, operating farm machinery, and performing maintenance tasks to keep the farm running smoothly. This paid position is perfect for individuals passionate about agriculture and eager to learn more about animal husbandry. Responsibilities Perform milking procedures accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper hygiene and animal comfort Assist with livestock handling, feeding, watering, and general animal husbandry to promote health and growth Uphold safety standards in all production processes, including manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Qualifications Prior experience working in a dairy or with large animals is a plus, not required Availability to work Friday - Monday and 20-30 hours a week Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy loads or equipment Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute directly to sustainable farming practices while developing versatile skills in agriculture.
