This is a great fit for an experienced irrigation tech who enjoys working outdoors, excels independently, and thrives in a hands-on, problem-solving environment. Your daily responsibilities will include driving an assigned route with a company vehicle, assessing and troubleshooting irrigation systems, performing seasonal start-ups and winterizations, and executing repairs and upgrades. During the off-season, you'll stay engaged by supporting our landscaping crews with various enhancements and maintenance projects. Responsibilities and Duties Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize irrigation systems for maximum efficiency Perform seasonal start-ups, winterizations, and system upgrades Program and adjust irrigation controllers both in the field and remotely Proactively assess system conditions and report to Account Manager Recommend water-wise irrigation products and solutions Maintain and stock service vehicle with necessary parts and tools Document work performed accurately and promptly Support landscaping crews with enhancements and maintenance in the off-season Work outdoors in all weather conditions Required Qualifications Experience with irrigation systems and programming Valid drivers license and insurable driving record required as a a condition of employment Strong communication skills and customer service orientation Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical demands of outdoor work Willingness to learn and grow with the team Work Schedule and Environment 40 hours per week with overtime in peak season Option of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week, with weekends off Workday begins at 6am or 7am depending on the season. Based out of our main office and landscaping headquarters in SE Portland.
