Closing date:
01/06/2027. Workers will perform temporary agricultural construction and maintenance activities directly related to the employer's horse farming operation. Workers will construct and install interior stable divisions, horse stalls, gates, fencing, posts, rails, and related structures used for the housing, containment, handling, and management of horses on the employer's agricultural property. Duties may include measuring, marking, cutting, positioning, and assembling wood, metal, fencing, and other construction materials; setting posts; installing fencing, gates, rails, stall panels, partitions, and hardware; preparing and leveling work areas; digging post holes; mixing and placing concrete for posts or structural supports; loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials; using hand and power tools; making minor repairs to existing horse stalls, fencing, gates, and related agricultural structures; and cleaning work areas upon completion. Workers may be required to perform repetitive physical activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, standing, walking, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds. The Agricultural farmworker position requires job duties involving soil preparation, to include operating tillage equipment, cutting equipment, and the ability to lift an haul bales to the storage barn. The basic job requirements and conditions include but are not limited to: the ability to lift 60lbs, exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing and pulling, extensive sitting and walking, and repetitive movements.
