We encourage you to enroll in the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (www.pacareerlink.pa.gov ) Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the production of turkeys for the majority of the workdays in the overall contract period. Turkey farm work will include the following responsibilities: attend to live turkeys for meat products by helping with de-beaking and growing of turkeys; feeding, watering, and cleaning of turkeys to be free of feces and straw; catching, loading and unloading turkeys; moving birds from barn to barn; load/unload farm trucks on, or between farm worksites; cleaning and maintaining turkey housing and farm grounds; collecting eggs; assisting with insemination; assisting in hatching eggs; laying straw; workers possessing the proper licensure may be asked to transport other farm workers. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Applicants must have two (2) months of experience with attending to live turkeys and provide the contact information of at least one reference who can verify experience and performance.
