We are looking for an experienced Commercial Irrigation Technician to join our growing team and help us continue delivering the high level of service our customers have come to expect. Responsibilities Responsible for startup and shut down of systems. Work with the office to create proposals for repair work Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot irrigation systems to determine repair needs Complete projects in the time that is allotted while paying attention to detail Diagnose and repair commercial irrigation systems Troubleshoot valves, wiring, decoders, controllers, and electrical issues Repair sprinkler heads, lateral lines, main lines, and valves Install and program irrigation controllers Perform irrigation audits and seasonal system adjustments Identify water waste and recommend improvements Communicate repairs and recommendations with Account Managers Complete daily service documentation Maintain a clean and organized work environment and equipment Maintain a detailed inventory of parts and equipment being used and stocked Follow all company safety procedure
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Must have experience with two-wire irrigation systems Minimum 2 years' experience installing/troubleshooting existing commercial systems Able to work independently Self motivated Experience troubleshooting electrical irrigation systems Familiarity with Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, and similar irrigation products Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Irrigation license or certification is a plus
