Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of irrigation systems. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to our clients. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair various types of irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency. Dig trenches and build necessary infrastructure for irrigation setups. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repairs. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Provide lawn care services including watering schedules, fertilization, and pest control as needed. Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation solutions into garden designs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks. Requirements Proven experience in irrigation installation or maintenance is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to dig, build, and irrigate efficiently while adhering to project timelines. Familiarity with lawn care practices, gardening techniques, and landscape design principles is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
