Temporary work from: 4/15/26 - 2/15/27. Employees will be required to drive a tractor for long periods of time. There will be several applications. I.E. - deep tillage, planting, harvesting, cultivating, etc. The operator will be required to hook and unhook multiple attachments to the tractor. Irrigation duties will also be present. Workers will be required to work on sprinklers as needed. Employees will be required to complete routine equipment maintenance and repairs from changing flat tires to gearboxes. Once the sprinkler is started employees will be required to clean nozzles and make sure water is flowing adequately from each hose. They will get wet. Rain suits and all tools necessary will be provided. All equipment will be expected to be well taken care of and kept clean. A couple times during the season employees will also work with livestock. We will round up cattle by horse or 4-wheeler. Calves will be sorted and processed. This is small minor part of the job description and only occurs when cattle need to be worked. During the harvest season the main duties will include operating equipment including tractors, swathers, etc). We will also need to haul and spread manure on the fields. During baling season, employees will need to haul the hay from the fields to storage. Employees will operate a tractor with flatbed trailer to haul hay bales. Bales will be loaded by the employee with a tractor or pay loader. Once the trailer is loaded the driver will strap down the hay bales and deliver to desired location. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season's rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.Similar jobs in Bovina, TX
