Job Summary:
A veterinary-owned small cattle operation located in South College Station is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and self-motivated Farm Hand to assist with daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily feeding and care of cattle, birds, and horses Assist with moving, vaccinating, tagging, and other routine health care for livestock Maintain property grounds, including mowing and weed eating along fence lines Repair and maintain fences, gates, and general farm infrastructure Stack and transport feed and hay (must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.) Conduct routine maintenance on farm tools and equipment as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
Weekend and holiday availability is required Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Must be dependable, hardworking, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous labor Previous experience handling cattle is preferred but not required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience Part-time or full-time hours available depending on the applicant and operational needs
