Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Irrigation Technician based in or around Fort Worth, TX. The Irrigation Technician will install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal functioning. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting irrigation issues, maintaining a water-efficient landscape for our valued clients, and ensuring that all work adheres to industry standards and regulations. Additional tasks may involve collaborating with the landscape maintenance team and supervising on-site activities as needed. This position encourages professional development to become an industry leader in innovative ways to conserve and manage water.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments, inspections, adjust and repair systems to ensure they perform to maximum efficiency and conserve water Identify areas of improvement in irrigation systems; conduct and record detailed inspections and complete upgrades as necessary for existing irrigation systems Troubleshoot irrigation systems to determine repair needs; always represent the company's best interest, uphold the highest level of integrity and professionalism Gather, update and analyze data for each account regarding water sources, points of connection, mainline location, services performed, parts installed and water usage Understand and meet production and maintenance schedule deadline without sacrificing excellent customer service and/or exceptional quality Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicle
Required Skills/Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of Irrigation systems, troubleshooting, and water management 2+ years of irrigation systems installation, maintenance, and restoration experience Strong understanding, reading, and interpreting of landscape and irrigation plan specifications Experience in Landscape Maintenance, including plant health care and general landscaping upkeep Proven ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive with keeping tasks on schedule and within budget Willingness to work with smart technology, including but not limited to smart phones, smart controllers, and digital configurations Physical ability to perform outdoor labor, up to 85%, in varying weather conditions Knowledge of local regulations and best practices for landscaping and water management

Physical Requirements:
Will work outdoors 85% of the time Employee is required to stand, walk, crouch, stoop and/or kneel; employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift May be exposed to hazardous material, loud noise, and/or extreme heat/cold temperatures
Education and Experience:
2 year college degree preferred 2+ years of industry related experience required; military experience may be substituted to meet position requirements Irrigation Technician/Landscape Irrigator License issued by TCEQ preferred Must have a valid Texas Driver's License with a clean record
