Pesticide Applicator's License Full Job Description Job Summary:

Irrigation Technician South Shore Harbour Country Club is seeking a reliable and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our landscaping and grounds maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip systems, valves, controllers, etc.) Diagnose issues with irrigation systems including leaks, electrical faults, and water pressure problems Perform seasonal maintenance such as system start-up, shut-down, and winterization Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers and smart irrigation systems Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Communicate effectively with clients and team members Operate equipment such as trenchers and pipe pullers safely and efficiently

Requirements:

2+ years of irrigation system installation and repair experience (preferred) Valid driver's license and social security card or passport Working knowledge of irrigation controllers, wiring, valves, and backflow systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in varying outdoor conditions Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with smart irrigation systems (e.g., Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro) Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
