What they do
A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Responsibilities:
- Unloading/Loading livestock trailers
- Pushing animals through chutes, pens, and alleys
- Tagging, processing, and treating animals
- Operating skid steer throughout pens and alleys
- Disposing of dead animals
- Feeding animals coastal and alfalfa bales
- Cleaning feeders & waters
Working Conditions:
This is an outdoor job. We do have a variety of shaded areas but expect plenty of time in the sun.Skills and Experience Required:
- Prior experience working with sheep and goats
- Able to work in a fast past environment
- Prioritization skills
- Professional manners, ability to communicate with truckers, customers, & coworkers
- Strong initiative, willingness to jump in and help
- Strong mental attitude
- Ability to learn Job Type
- Full time position
- 40-50 hours a week. We normally work around 8-5, but can get off earlier/later depending on weather conditions, holidays, etc.
