In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems that keep lawns lush and gardens thriving. Your expertise will ensure efficient water use and help clients achieve their outdoor vision. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your mechanical skills and landscaping knowledge to deliver exceptional service. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, and general horticultural activities to support healthy growth. Operate construction equipment safely to excavate trenches for new irrigation lines or system upgrades. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and system modifications for client files. Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall landscape designs. Educate clients on system operation and water conservation practices to optimize their outdoor spaces. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in irrigation systems or related fields such as horticulture or landscaping. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment including excavators. Strong understanding of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticultural principles. Ability to read technical diagrams and follow detailed instructions accurately. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues efficiently. Prior experience with land surveying or construction is a plus but not required.
