In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas. Your expertise will help promote healthy plant growth, conserve water, and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even coverage and optimal water efficiency across landscaped areas Maintain detailed records of system inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation schedules with lawn care and planting activities Operate construction equipment like excavators for major repairs or system installations in hard-to-reach areas Assist with general landscaping tasks including lawn care, pruning, and landscape upkeep as needed Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems, pumps, valves, and controllers Experience working with landscaping equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and lawn care machinery Familiarity with horticulture principles and landscape maintenance practices Ability to operate construction machinery like excavators safely and efficiently Strong understanding of irrigation technology and troubleshooting techniques Knowledge of landscaping best practices including lawn care and general horticulture skills Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system diagnostics and repairs Join us if you're eager to apply your technical expertise in a vibrant outdoor environment!
