Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, a solid understanding of irrigation components, and a commitment to water conservation and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, sprinklers, and drip systems Diagnose and repair system issues such as leaks, broken heads, wiring problems, and pressure inconsistencies Program and adjust irrigation controllers based on seasonal and weather conditions Perform system audits to ensure proper coverage and water efficiency Read and interpret irrigation plans and blueprints Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance and recommended improvements Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition

Qualifications:

Valid Technician License (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 2+ years of experience in irrigation installation and repair Knowledge of irrigation systems, electrical components, and water management practices Ability to operate tools and equipment safely Strong problem-solving and time-management skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Frequent bending, kneeling, and standing

Work Schedule:

Full-time, with occasional overtime during peak seasons On-call or weekend work may be required
