PT Barn Worker (Equestrian) Baylor Equestrian Waco, TX Job Details Part-time From $12 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Horse care Farm experience Yard work Agriculture Full Job Description Responsibilities surrounding the daily care of horses and upkeep of the Equestrian facility. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Feeding and watering horses Cleaning stalls Turning out and bringing in horses Blanketing horses (winter months) Facility maintenance and repair Daily cleaning of the facility As needed extra cleaning and maintenance of the facility including power washing, painting, fence repair, grounds maintenance, etc. The positions is primarily early morning hours (estimated 6 a.m.-10 a.m.) with some shorter evening shifts available. We work out a rotational schedule....there are evening shifts, rotational weekends, and shared holiday availability is required. Applicants MUST have experience working in an ag-type setting using different equipment and are comfortable being around animals. Horse experience heavily preferred, but general livestock experience a plus. Must be trainable and able to lift 50+ lbs. Applicants must be 18 years or older, legal to work in the US, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work in a team setting. Failure to be timely, work with others, communicate with your supervisor, and/or dress and conduct yourself in a professional manner may result in immediate dismissal.
