Job Description

FARM AND RANCH HAND WITH ON-SITE HOUSING
Clearfork Farm and Market is looking for someone dependable to live and work on our farm in Parker County, Texas. The work will include a mix of: Mowing and weed eating Watering and caring for trees throughout the summer General property upkeep Growing and harvesting food Caring for gardens and fruit orchards Feeding and caring for animals Maintaining irrigation systems Fixing and maintaining farm equipment Fencing, cleanup, and other farm and ranch projects Previous farm, ranch, orchard, gardening, or agricultural experience is a big plus. A mechanical background is also a big plus, especially experience troubleshooting, repairing, operating, and maintaining equipment. We need someone who is comfortable keeping equipment working and handling basic repairs when problems come up. We are looking for someone who enjoys outdoor work, can work independently, and is willing to help wherever needed. You do not need experience in every area, but you must be dependable, honest, hardworking, and comfortable with physical outdoor work. This is primarily a paid, live-on-site position. We have a 2019 camper available, or we may be able to provide a spot if you already own a camper and want to move it onto the farm. Pay, schedule, housing, and responsibilities are negotiable based on experience and what works for the right person. Different arrangements may be available. We also have educational and internship opportunities for people without much experience who genuinely want to learn farm and ranch work.
