Full-Time ONSITE About the Role We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Ranch Hand whose primary responsibility will be the daily care and management of our poultry operation, including chickens and chicks. This position also assists with general ranch duties as needed, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of hands-on agricultural work and takes pride in caring for animals and maintaining a well-run operation. Responsibilities including but not limited to:- Feed, water, and monitor chickens and chicks daily.
- Inspect birds for signs of illness or injury and report concerns, address and treat as needed.
- Collect, clean, grade, and package eggs.
- Clean and sanitize coops, brooders, feeders, and water systems.
- Maintain proper brooder conditions for chicks.
- Follow biosecurity, vaccination, and treatment protocols, as outlined.
- Maintain accurate flock, feed, and production records.
- Assist with fencing, ranch maintenance, equipment upkeep, and general property improvements.
- Support cattle and other ranch operations as needed.
- Operate farm equipment and perform other ranch duties assigned by management. Qualifications
- Experience with poultry, livestock, or ranch work preferred.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
- Honest, dependable, and committed to high standards of animal care.
