Kennel Technician

Liberty Bark is a top-rated training-based dog-care facility. We pride ourselves in maintaining a calm, safe learning environment for all dogs of all temperament types. We are seeking a Dog Daycare Attendant / Kennel Technician to join our structured and training-based doggie daycare and boarding facility! As a daycare attendant, you will be responsible for the overall supervision, care, and well-being of the animals at our facility.

Responsibilities:

Supervising dogs in social groups, ensuring play is appropriate, and communicating with the team concerning dog body language and interactions Handle general care tasks such as feeding the dogs, performing wellness checks, administration of medications, and communicating with the team extensively about dogs' progress and behavior Taking photos and videos for our clients and social media purposes Maintaining a clean work environment, poop scooping, cleaning kennels, and tidying the facility during downtime Occasionally giving dogs baths, and performing other miscellaneous tasks

Qualifications:

No previous experience is required. We will train you Punctuality and attendance must be a top priority You must be comfortable working with all types of sizes of dogs Passion to help dogs succeed and become better versions of themselves Ability to stand and walk for 3-4 hours at a time, lift 50+ lbs regularly, and work under different weather conditions Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Looking for self-driven individuals, who take initiative, and excel under pressure Job Specifications This is initially a part-time position with a probationary training period of 60 days to ensure this is a good fit for Liberty Bark and the employee Training is paid, individuals are promoted and a raise is provided upon completion Shifts we are looking to fill are: Saturday-Tuesday, 9 am to 7pm, Friday-Sunday 7 am to 6 pm Wednesday - Saturday 7am to 4pm Benefits (medical, dental, vision, and health) are available for full-time positions, and staff pups are always welcome during non-peak dates

Compensation:

$12.00 - $14.00, based on experience
