Job Description
Nursery Worker Our small, scrappy, independent nursery has been helping people grow their own low-care fruits and nuts since 1987. We supply schools, nonprofit organizations, municipal governments, barefoot dreamers, homesteaders and homeowners. Friendly, very not corporate, eclectic, physically active work in the sun, rain, heat, and cold in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. Not a desk job--something different to learn every week. We are looking for person who can be flexible with day to day assignments- Tasks will include but not be limited to: Potting and repotting plants. Watering and maintaining nursery stock. Unloading and processing plant shipments. Working in the shipping department if needed.
