Our properties vary widely in complexity and require deep horticultural knowledge and meticulous, attentive care at every visit. Our work balances the beauty of the space with horticulturally sound best practices. We don't cut corners, we observe, we diagnose, and we respond with skilled care.
Position Summary:
Our Gardeners/Horticulturalists play a hands-on role in ensuring the health, beauty, and functionality of our client properties. You will perform routine garden maintenance tasks, develop your horticultural knowledge, and work collaboratively with your team to uphold Relish Gardens' standards. As part of a values-driven team, you are expected to show up on time, take initiative, and take pride in the quality of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine garden maintenance, including weeding, pruning, planting, deadheading, mulching, raking, and seasonal tasks. Follow site-specific SOPs and guidance from the Lead Horticulturalist to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Maintain a tidy and professional worksite, ensuring tools are cleaned and put away, and debris is removed. Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and leads in a respectful, efficient, and positive manner. Communicate clearly and proactively with your team about site needs or issues. Embrace learning opportunities and seek feedback to grow your skills and advance within the company.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality garden work. Reliability and punctuality. Openness to feedback and willingness to learn. Ability to follow directions and site-specific protocols. Team player with strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of hands-on gardening experience or relevant education in a professional setting. 1-2 years of experience with pruning. Physical ability to work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Interest in horticultural best practices. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from client properties.
Compensation & Growth:
