Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated horticultural technician to maintain interior plants in commercial spaces with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail while providing exceptional customer service. Ensure plant health, manage pests, and recommend replacements as needed. Complete daily routes using a company vehicle, attend weekly meetings, and assist with installations and special projects. Maintain communication with Service and Operations manager about access or service issues. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum one year of horticultural education or equivalent experience working with interior tropical plants. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must agree to a background check. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision. Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing/walking/squatting/kneeling for prolonged periods. Comfortable using client management software to track maintenance programs and routes. Must have a designated off-street parking space at residence for the company vehicle. Expectations Uphold Seattle Plant Company's exceptional customer service and quality standards. Communicate any access or service issues immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure plant health with balanced watering, pest monitoring, and regular cleaning. Track and communicate plant replacements and special service requirements. Log service times and complete assigned schedule in CRM. Properly handle service tools and equipment and report any issues as needed. Communicate any access or service issues to management and/or immediately to avoid service disruption. Request additional support or resources as needed. Vehicle Care & Maintenance Drive safely, following all traffic laws and company policies. Keep company vehicles clean and free of personal clutter Keep service tools clean and organized. Request tool replacements and maintenance as needed. Report any repair issues promptly.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Hourly Rate:
$23.00 - $25.00/ hour $75 monthly cell phone stipend Insurance package: medical, dental, vision & life Two weeks paid vacation (three weeks after two years) Six paid holidays Retirement plan with 3% company match Growth opportunities in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Schedule & Work Environment:
