Job Description

Cultivation Technicians are responsible for the cultivation and care of cannabis plants from seed to harvest, Tuesday through Friday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. The position involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily tasks in the cannabis cultivation process, including cloning, pruning, and harvesting. Monitor plant health and growth, identifying and addressing any arising issues. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cultivation area, including equipment, tools, and supplies. Maintain accurate records of plant inventory, environmental conditions, and cultivation procedures. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all cultivation tasks and activities, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to continually improve cultivation techniques and knowledge. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure the smooth operation of the cultivation process. Adhere to strict health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications:
Impeccable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and record-keeping abilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and management. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to pass a respirator fit test. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Working Conditions:
The Cultivation Technician works primarily in an indoor environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and noise. The position requires the ability to work on one's feet for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. PPE is required, including gloves, safety glasses, and respirators. The position may require occasional evening or weekend work.
