Seasonal Winery Worker-Bottling

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Garden Nursery Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the cultivation, maintenance, and care of plants within our nursery. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for horticulture and a desire to contribute to a thriving environment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that our plants are healthy, well-maintained, and ready for sale. Responsibilities Assist in the planting, watering, and fertilizing of plants in accordance with established guidelines. Monitor plant health and identify any signs of disease or pest infestations, taking appropriate action as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery, including sanitizing tools and equipment regularly. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to transport plants and supplies. Package plants for sale, ensuring they are presented attractively and securely. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols to maintain quality standards. Collaborate with team members to achieve nursery goals and improve operational efficiency. Skills Knowledge of CGMP standards and practices related to plant care is preferred. Experience in the food industry or craft beer brewing can be beneficial in understanding quality control processes. Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic repairs or maintenance of nursery equipment is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including safe forklift operation, is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail when sanitizing work areas and handling plants. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
