Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Barn Feeding and Cleaning Associate, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-managed environment for our livestock and farm operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a hands-on setting, supporting animal care and farm maintenance activities. All paid positions ensure your valuable contributions are recognized and rewarded. Duties Assist with daily feeding routines for various farm animals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration. Maintain cleanliness of barns, pens, and surrounding areas by cleaning bedding, removing waste. Perform basic repairs and maintenance on farm equipment (not required but favorable•minimal repair) Handle livestock with care during feeding, cleaning, or movement activities while adhering to animal husbandry standards. Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members. Cleaning of all pens•we are a therapy location so cleanliness is important. Also the kind treatment of our animals is a MUST!
Animals:
include (but not limited to) mini donkeys, mini horses, alpacas, zebu, goats and sheep plus exotics. Requirements Previous experience working outdoors on farms or with livestock is highly desirable•one + years preferred) Knowledge of animal husbandry practices Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance Strong understanding of safety standards in agricultural production environments. Good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor for extended periods. Valid driver's license This role offers an engaging environment where your hands-on skills make a real difference in daily farm operations!
