Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Cash Crop Farm Employee to join our operation. This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating modern farm equipment, and being part of a productive agricultural team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, possess a valid CDL (Class A), and have a strong mechanical aptitude. A background in diesel mechanics is a plus. Hours vary depending on the season and pay varies depending on experience and knowledge. Responsibilities Operate tractors, combines, sprayers, grain carts, semis, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with planting, spraying, harvesting, and other seasonal field operations. Transport grain, seed, fertilizer, and equipment using CDL vehicles. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on farm machinery and trucks. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment. Maintain equipment cleanliness and accurate maintenance records. Assist with general farm duties as needed. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Valid CDL (Class A) license with a clean driving record; experience driving large commercial vehicles preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of agricultural machinery repair, welding, and general maintenance techniques. Prior outdoor work experience emphasizing manual handling, heavy lifting, and safety compliance in agricultural settings. Basic math skills for measurements, inventory management, and record keeping related to farm operations. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
