Job Description

Position Title:

Farm Hand/Grain Operator Farm Hand/Grain Operator Overview:

A leading agricultural operation in Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Farm Hand /Grain Operator team member. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our farming operations and ensuring the success of our agronomy programs.

Farm Hand/Grain Operator Key Responsibilities:

Field Operations:

Assist with various field tasks, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.

Equipment Operation:

Operate and maintain farm equipment, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation systems.

Agronomy Support:

Collaborate with the agronomy team to perform soil sampling, nutrient applications, and pest control measures.

Maintenance:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and equipment.

Crop Monitoring:

Monitor crop health, identify issues, and report findings to agronomy specialists.

Safety:

Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Farm Hand/Grain Operator Qualifications:

Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment. Basic understanding of agronomy practices is a plus. Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent.
