This position involves feeding animals, milking goats, cleaning barns and pens, and assisting with general farm duties. The ideal candidate enjoys working with animals, can work independently, and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Responsibilities Feed and water goats, calves, and other livestock daily Milk goats and maintain clean milking procedures Feed calves and assist with the care of young animals Clean barns, stalls, pens, and feeding areas Monitor livestock for signs of illness or injury Handle animals safely and humanely Assist with farm maintenance and repairs as needed Maintain feeding and animal care schedules Operate basic farm equipment when necessary Qualifications Previous farm or livestock experience preferred, but willing to train the right person Ability to lift 50+ pounds Dependable and punctual Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed Strong work ethic and positive attitude Schedule Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Morning and evening shifts Pay per hour, based on experience
