About the Position We are a family-owned farm in Winchester, California seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm Manager to oversee daily agricultural operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in growing high-quality produce and managing a productive, well-run farming operation. The right candidate will bring strong agricultural knowledge, a practical work ethic, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of large-scale vegetable production from planting through harvest Manage soil health, irrigation systems, fertilization schedules, and pest and disease control programs Supervise and coordinate farm workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely Monitor crop growth and health, making timely decisions to maximize yield and quality Maintain and oversee farm equipment, scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance as needed Track inventory of supplies, seeds, fertilizers, and equipment and coordinate procurement as needed Ensure compliance with all applicable agricultural regulations, water usage guidelines, and safety standards Keep accurate records of crop cycles, inputs, yields, and expenses Coordinate with ownership on seasonal planning, budgeting, and production goals Identify and implement improvements to farming practices and operational efficiency Qualifications Proven experience managing large-scale vegetable farming operations (required) Strong knowledge of crop production, irrigation systems, soil management, and pest control Experience supervising and managing farm crews Ability to operate and maintain standard farm equipment and machinery Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments Spanish language skills are a strong plus, given the bilingual nature of our team Valid driver's license required What We Offer A stable, full-time position on a family-owned farm with a supportive work environment Competitive salary negotiated based on your experience and qualifications The opportunity to take real ownership of farm operations and make a meaningful impact How to Apply Interested candidates are welcome to apply directly through Indeed.
