Job Description

Crop Insurance Producer We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Crop Insurance Producer to join our growing agency team. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with farmers and agribusiness clients, and delivering customized risk management and crop insurance solutions. The ideal candidate understands the agricultural community, values relationship-based sales, and is passionate about helping clients protect their operations and livelihoods. Responsibilities Develop and generate new crop insurance business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community involvement Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, producers, and agribusiness clients Consult with clients to evaluate risk exposures and recommend appropriate crop insurance solutions Educate clients on available coverage options, policy updates, and risk management strategies Manage renewals, policy reviews, acreage reporting, and ongoing client service needs Collaborate with carrier partners and internal teams to provide competitive solutions and exceptional service Maintain compliance with federal crop insurance regulations and reporting requirements Stay current on agricultural trends, commodity markets, and industry developments Qualifications Crop insurance or agricultural sales experience preferred Active Property & Casualty license preferred Crop insurance licensing and knowledge of MPCI and crop hail products is a plus Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory Strong organizational and time-management abilities Agricultural background or understanding of farming operations preferred
