Poultry Broiler Farm Manager

The Broiler Farm Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a poultry farm that raises broiler chickens (meat birds). The role focuses on bird health, production efficiency, facility management, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Qualifications Education High school diploma required Associate's or bachelor's degree in agriculture, animal science, or related field preferred Experience Poultry or livestock farming experience (often 2-5+ years) Supervisory or farm management experience preferred Skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making Mechanical aptitude (equipment troubleshooting) Ability to work independently and manage time Basic computer skills for reporting Working Conditions Physically demanding (lifting, walking, exposure to dust/ammonia) Early mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required Outdoor and indoor (poultry house) work environment
