Job Description

Job Summary Job Summary UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center is seeking two (2) passionate and dedicated Barn/Facility Managers to join our team in Goffstown, NH. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of daily care for our equine partners while maintaining a safe, clean, and fully operational facility. You will also utilize farm equipment and lead a dedicated team of volunteers to support daily barn and facility tasks.
Key Responsibilities Equine Care:
Provide excellent, attentive daily care to our herd of equines, including feeding, turnout, stall cleaning, and monitoring overall health and well-being.
Facility Maintenance:
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment across the entire property (barns, arenas, paddocks, and pastures) to support our therapeutic programming.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate and maintain farm equipment, machinery, and tools required for facility upkeep (e.g., tractors, spreaders, and utility vehicles).
Volunteer Management:
Train, supervise, and coordinate community volunteers assisting with daily barn chores and facility maintenance tasks.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for horses, staff, volunteers, and participants. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate volunteers. Physical stamina required for manual labor in all weather conditions (lifting up to 50 lbs regularly). Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative non-profit team.
Requirement:
Candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
