Poultry Farm Manager (Pullet Operations) Idalou Egg Ranch -
Idalou, TX Pay:
$52,000-$55,000 per year,

Full-Time | Exempt Join Our Team! Idalou Egg Ranch is seeking an experienced Poultry Farm Manager to lead our pullet production operation in Idalou, Texas. Candidates with commercial poultry, layer, broiler, breeder, hatchery, or other poultry production management experience are encouraged to apply. If you have poultry production experience and enjoy leading people, improving operations, and ensuring high standards of animal care, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Lead the daily operation of our pullet farm, ensuring flock health, animal welfare, and production goals are met Supervise, coach, and develop production employees while promoting a safe, team-oriented workplace Manage employee scheduling, labor, and production costs to improve operational efficiency Ensure compliance with company SOPs, biosecurity, safety, and audit requirements Coordinate flock activities including vaccinations, bird moves, and disease prevention Partner with ranch leadership, maintenance teams, and vendors to support the operation Help drive continuous improvement through strong leadership and problem-solving Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED 3+ years of poultry production or poultry management experience Previous experience leading or supervising employees Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel) Ability to work in an agricultural environment Preferred Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Business, or a related field Bilingual (English/Spanish) Why Join Idalou Egg Ranch? $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
