The Visitor Center & Tap Room Manager is responsible for managing the Straub Brewery Visitor Center & Tap Room located on the Straub Brewery campus in St. Mary, PA. Responsibilities include the Straub Tap Room and Gift Shop, tours of the historic Straub Brewery and Eternal Tap, the Straub Brewery Bed & Beer, Harvest Host, on-campus public and private events, and off-campus special events. The Tap Room provides full bar service and food menu, has an extensive gift shop, provides tours of the brewery, and hosts a variety of special events, both private and public. The Tap Room is significant part of Straub Brewery's operations and must reflect the brewery's brand and culture. During its seven years in existence, the Tap Room has become an important regional attraction complimenting the historic Straub Brewery and Eternal Tap. The primary objective for the Visitor Center & Tap Room Manager is to ensure all guests are provided an exceptional experience while visiting Straub Brewery. The Visitor Center & Tap Room Manager must be a very hands-on leader with a passion for beer. The position is responsible for ensuring the financial success of the Tap Room, supervising the staff approximately 20-25 employees, and complying with all food and beverage regulations. The Visitor Center & Tap Room Manager is an important direct report to the Brewery President. The Brewery Manager, Treasurer and Accountant provide important support services to the Visitor Center & Tap Room Manager.
