Full-Time, Seasonal (Late August through October/November)
Schedule:
Variable hours depending on crop maturity and weather. Candidates must be willing to work night shifts and extended hours, including shifts that typically run between 10:00 PM and 4:00 PM the following day. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Harvest Weighmaster to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. As the first point of contact for incoming fruit deliveries, you will play a critical role in accurately weighing, recording, and tracking grape lbs./tons as they are picked in the field. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, stays organized under pressure, and is comfortable working independent night shifts.
Key Responsibilities Scale Operations:
Accurately weigh incoming bins and gondolas; record gross, tare, and net weights.
Data Entry & Compliance:
Enter weight, variety, block, and grower information into our vineyard tracking software. Ensure all weighmaster certificates are filled out accurately and legally in accordance with California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) regulations.
Quality Control Coordination:
Work closely with the winery and vineyard teams to communicate load arrivals. Keep a

Qualifications & Requirements Computer Literacy:
Proficient with basic computer software. (experience with winery-specific tracking software is a plus, but we will train the right candidate). Attention to
Detail:
Absolute accuracy in data entry and paperwork is a must; small errors have a big impact on grower payments and compliance.
Flexible Schedule:
Ability to work unconventional hours, night shifts (such as 10:00 PM to 4:00 PM), weekends, and overtime as harvest pace dictates.
License:
Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
Ability to stand for extended periods, walk on uneven surfaces, and work in outdoor weather conditions (nighttime cold or daytime heat).
Certification:
Prior experience as a licensed Weighmaster or familiarity is preferred, but not required (we will assist with registration/certification if necessary).
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
