Job Description

CSA Pickup Associate — 2026 Season We're looking for a part-time team member to run our Saturday CSA member pickup. This is a front-facing, customer-service-oriented role on a diversified vegetable farm with an engaged, close-knit CSA community. This is a great position for someone who loves interacting with people, takes pride in a well-run operation, and wants to be part of a vibrant farm community — one day a week. Experience & Qualifications Strong people skills and genuine comfort interacting with the public — our CSA members are curious, engaged, and loyal.
Experience in customer-facing roles:
farmers market, retail, hospitality, or similar. Organized and self-directed — you can manage a busy pickup largely on your own and keep things running smoothly. The ability to maintain a positive attitude and stay focused in a fast-paced environment. The ability to receive and apply constructive instruction and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture. Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. CSA Pickup Duties Setting up a market-style array of vegetable bins before the pickup opens. Interacting with CSA members, answering questions about produce and u-pick crops. Restocking display bins throughout the pickup. Keeping the cooler, wash-pack, and pickup area clean. Breaking down the pickup, washing harvest totes, and recording end-of-day inventory. Compensation & Schedule Saturdays only — 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (approximately 8 hours/week) $20-$21/hr DOE Access to all farm produce This is a seasonal position (June through mid-December).
